A recent disaster with the Sonos app has reportedly delayed the release of the highly anticipated Sonos Arc 2 soundbar and its groundbreaking speaker technology to 2025.

According to the company's CEO, the app problems have impacted two major product releases, one of which was the Arc 2.

In late 2022, a leak suggested that Sonos was developing a successor to its premium Sonos Arc soundbar.

But the app issues have reportedly forced a delay. Recent pictures of the new soundbar have emerged, codenamed "Lasso."

However, sources close to the company indicate that the Arc 2 may not be the only product affected by the delay. A recent Bloomberg report suggests that a range of products, including the Sonos Beam Gen 2 and Sonos Five Gen 2, may also be pushed back.

Sonos' app has been the subject of complaints lately. After an automatic update, many users reported issues with their Sonos systems.

The Sonos Arc, along with the Sonos Five and Sub, are the first Sonos products to feature the company's new S2 app architecture.
